Arcadia was citrus groves before it was a neighborhood, and it kept the trees and the irrigation. The lots are unusually large for central Phoenix, the canopy is mature, and Camelback Mountain sits at the end of most streets.
That combination makes it the best part of the city for an outdoor dinner, and the reason nearly all of our Arcadia work happens in back yards rather than venues. A flood-irrigated lawn under grapefruit trees with the mountain behind it does not need a room.
The constraints are the ones that come with old residential streets: narrow load-in, no power where you want the table, and neighbours close enough that the end time matters.
